If you had traction control you would definetly know it. It brings the car to a screaming halt almost as soon as the tires start to spin.

Yeah, it's kind of embarasing when you forget to turn it off and go to launch hard on someone.

i have a v6 also, atlanticblue - and like someone said it would be one of the 3 buttons in front of the shifter under the cd stuff. theres defroster, traction control, and a third one (on my car the third button is a dummy, i guess its used for something in the gt's or something.). anyway even with it on all the time (i dont bother turning it off most of the time) i spin as well when its wet out. but when its very dry i spin only if i really punch the gas from a standstill, and even then not so much. if youre spinning all the time maybe you should get new tires

but either way, aside from ABS which comes on every now and then, the only time I *really* notice tractioncontrol doing anything is when going over roads that have some slick spots on them, and automagically the power between the wheels starts shifting so you can feel it and the abs gets all excited but i dont care since it keeps me in a straight line.

yea my defroster is with the ac ***** and i dont have any of those buttons. also, i only spin when i slam the gas, but thats how i drive a lot of the time. you know, why have a stang if you dont enjoy it.

edit: also, about the tires, i dont like my stock "6 spoke" wheel design, i thought about saving up for some new wheels, ill post a link to them when i get a chance.
