Default 1998 or 1992 a decision.

Hi I currently own a Red 1998 Mustang, it's V6 witha 3.8L engine and it's bone stock. It is also automatic. I bought the car for 6,900 at a dealership, it only had 45,000 miles on it. 4 months later I have been looking to sell my car and get a 1992 white GT. The GT is loaded with power everything and it has lots of extras. It is also a V8 with a 5.0L engineand it's manual. What can I do to convince my dad to sell my 98 and get me the 92? He said "We would talk about it." but there is nothing to talk about seeing the 92 is far more better. Any suggestions???

GOING TO THE 92 WILL PROBABLY LOWER YOUR INSURANCE, AND JUST TELL HIM THAT THE FOX IS A PIECE OF HISTORY THAT WILL BE IMPOSIBLE TO FIND LATER. GET HIM TO GO WITH YOU AND LOOK AT IT.. BRING HIM IN THE PICTURE. CHECK THAT 92 OUT THOROUGHLY AND MAKE SURE IT WILL BE A CAR THAT LASTS. HOW MANY MILES ON THE 92

1992 Mustang GT 5.0 Beautifully kept fox-body Mustang in perfect running order and super clean inside and out, you will not find a better cared for car. Meticulously mainted, oil changed every 3 months, or basically 500 miles. All fluids kept full and new, always run on 94 octane. Has never seen winter, and has barely seen rain. Always garaged and is washed and waxed regularly. Thousands in extras, including full exhuast(headers to turn downs), full Jacobs ignition system w/ plugs and wires, heavy duty Centerforce clutch, short throw B+M shifter, KYB shocks and struts, welded sub-frame connectors, strut tower brace, 3.55 rear gears, silicone hoses, 73 mm C+L mass-air meter, Fluidyne high performance radiator, police fan clutch, autometer gauges and more! Custom sound as well, JVC head unit, all new speakers, including 2 12" Kenwood sub woofers with a 1000 watt Kenwood amp. Really an awesome car inside and out. It's been babied its whole life and it shows. I also have close to $1,000 in extra parts not on the car ( 70mm BBK throttle body, 24# Motorsport injectors, 77mm mass air meter w/ flow-tube, 195 lph fuel pump) that will go with it if sold for $9,750.

Options Installed

Driver Air Bag; Air Conditioning; Alloy Wheels; Cruise Control; Compact Disc Player; Power Door Locks; Power Mirrors; Power Windows; Power Steering; Tinted Glass;

ok don't show pops this page.. the car has a open exhaust, tb, injectors etc i would say the car is probably still around 225-245 hp or close at the rear wheels. milleage is right for a 92. sounds like a nice car, with all that is in it though the car has probably been run a few time though..i would still take it to a mechanic and run a car fax. if you are paying the note and insurance that gives you more leverage

Well I'm only 17, I'll be 18 in June of 2004 so he knows I won't bring it the strip, plushe won't allow me anyway...well until after college. If I get the car I'm going to store it while I'm away and then let the fun begin. How much more horsepower do you think all those parts add? I'm new when it comes to engine mods.
