It may not even be the tie rods, folks. Depending on how wide and tall your tires are, they could be rubbing on either the fenders or the ball joints. That is a common problem with Mustang front ends as well. I have a 1968 and have 8-inch rims on the front. They're just wide enough that they rub. I had spacers put on and everything and still have the problem. Am considering going back to 7 inch on the fronts. There is also a bushing that can squeak a bunch under the hood. It's by the shock towers. In a 1967 I had, we had to cut holes in the inner fender wells to get to the bushings to lube them. I guess Ford figured the bushings were lifetime lubed but they are not. Anyway, good luck with whatever it is.

Sounds like your front pads & rotors are gettin alittle old man, if it's a constant squeek while on the brakes, I'd disregard the Free Ford Tech's Diagnosis and go ahead and do the front brakes.

He also stated it happens while turning the wheel!!! Ford has had a problem with the outter tie rod ends making a squeek noise. But hey What I could be wrong ifits the brakes and there is lots of pad surface I would resurface the pads and chamfer the edges.

So the problem with my squeak when I'm driving around my not be just the front tires rubbing on the tie rods? I know I've had some scoring on the inside wall of the tires in the past. I had one spacer put on each and it still does it. It's more of a mechanical squeak (like a spring) than a brake squeak. Hmmm ...

OK I CAN ONLY SPEAK FROM EXPERIENCE, I HAVE 18X9 WHEELS ON A 98 AND I HAD A SQUEAK ISSUE. NEW SPRINGS, NEW SHOCKS, CASTER CAMBER PLATES AND NO MORE SQUEAK...

Are those 18X9's low profile? Just eyeballing them, I'd say they are 15X8's at least. I've thought about selling the wheels and tires and going back to my old style 1976 aluminum slot mags back on it. Those were 14X7's and I never had trouble with them rubbing. I like the wider tires on it better though. They just make the car, you know.
