Honestly thats a hard one....well i think i know id pick a 94-95 gt over a 96-98 gt...just cuz of the 5.0 and it should be easier to mod...plus i heard that those 96-98 gts felt....weak (well stock) compared to the older 5.0 engine....but if u want looks, personally i like the 99+ v6 or v8 stangs better, they look sharper and meaner, but idk imo itd be a tossup between the 94-95 gt or the 99+v6....id say if u want power(and cheap power), get the 94-95 gt

All of us can tell you what to get but everything depends on what you want to do with the car and how much money you have to play with.
Whatever you decide, definitely a V8 over a V6. They are much more fun to play with.
