Default How methanol/water injection works?

I was just wonder how the boost coolers work. When you are driving do you have to turn them on or are they always on, where do you hook em up. Does it really help that much? I have a vortech with a intercooler running 6.5lbs of boost would it even help me. I am thinking about going up to 8-9lbs.

they're set to begin spraying as boost levels rise. they generally kick in around 3psi and flow more as your boost rises. my kit is hooked up right before the throttle body. you don't need a boost cooler to go to 9psi, especially if you already have an intercooler.
