engine braking question

engine braking question

do the fuel injectors realy pump zero gas as its engine braking? can anyone give a short explain of this?

I don't know this to be a fact but I think they stay "on".This keeps the O2 sensors hot so that when you get back on the gas they don't send bad info to the computer.
