Need more info. What kind of car do you drive, what model, what type of tranny.

Its a mustang, it will always have bad gas millage.

Get a cold air intake, take the silencer off, lay off the heavy foot....

it depends what you think is bad milage, 18mpg or 5 mpg.. if its like 5 (or just really bad) try the simple things, new air filter, plugs, wires, etc..

Check our O2 sensors if one is out and it could be dumping too much gas into the cc and not igniting it all just sending it out the exhaust

i was getting about 22 before gears, then i started averaging 18. then i started behaving with the gas and i'm back around 22 again.
