Default gtech 1/4 timeing

my friend has this thing called a gtech. you plug it into your lighter and you run a 1/4 mile and it tells you your time and whp. i was wondering how accurate this thing could be. he claims it is almost exactly right.

If you can find a extremely flat strip of road you can usually come within 2-5 tenths of your actual 1/4 mile ET. I wouldn't be afraid to use it for my own personal fun & references..but I certaintly wouldn't brag about a GTech time as it may be way off and setting you up for some embarassment

yea i agree. the kid that has it owns a 92 integra ls with an intake and exhaust it said he ran a 16.2. sounds about right i think.

lol yea. but the place he ran at wasnt totaly flat i dunno how much a diff that makes.

makes alot of diff. your car goes slower up hill and goes a lil faster down hill so yeah it's gonna make some diff. but hey you can find more into at there website...

I heard they're really close to accurate when used right, but how accurate can you really get with something like that? Still pretty neat though.

14s in what car? And an LS Integra 5spd if it's well driven is mid-high 15s
