I paid $250 in North Platte for a gear swap in a Dana 60 (similar design). Place called Inland Truck Parts.

 

Avg. install should come in around $325 depends on your geography though.

 

i installed mine with the help of my uncle god am i happy idid that and so is my stang hahahahaha

 

so yea.....get this. I was quoted $395 for the install when i talked to the guy on the phone and i thought that meant everything needed for the install. I got the car back from the shop yesterday and the bill was $481 for just the install!!!!!! Needless to say i was a little PO'D that they failed to tell me that was not including tax and oil, t-lock, and friction modifier. And.......i found out that they didnt recalibrate my spedometer.

yea a shop near me tried that crap and i made sure i got the price of everything, including recalibrating the speedo. it was a little more for me though..its about 600.im going friday to get my 4.10s and i cant wait
