I have a 07gt I put ona pypes cat back with violator mufflers, but its just not loud enough, I have ordered headers and an x pipe but until they come in I was thinking about taking off the mufflers, on the 99 stang gt I had I did this and it sounded perfect, with the 05 and up I m not sure if this will effect the back pressure or performance due to lack there of, anyone done this?

 

no to the first question. i can almost guarantee that you get pulled over though. possibly even get a ticket for it, but its your call.
