truck question wont start...
well i replaced the tranny in my 89 f150 2 wheel drive manual 4 speed with o/d got everything put back together and it doesnt even attempt to start, there is power to the truck, the lights and everything work but it wont turn over at all, i took the starter which is like a month old and had it tested, it is fine what could i have done wrong or need to adjust so it will run? i need the truck to move i have to be out of my house in three days and into the new one SOMEONE PLEASE HELP
There is a solenoid on the right fender well.
The positivecable comes from the battery to a terminal.
The other terminal has a cable to the starter.
There are 1 or possibly 2 smaller connections.
There should a wire attached to one or both of them.
Check for power to the solenoid from the battery.
There should also be a neutral safety switch at or near the clutch pedal.
Or do you mean you installed an automatic transmission?
