Default Opps...it broke.

So im new here. I just bought my GT 2 months ago and one of the first things i wanted to do was replace the 29 Iinch antenna. i got a 14 inch replacement for it, but in the process of removing the old one and putting on the new one, the screw broke off in the base. any suggestions on how to get the broke screw out?

if there is enough sticking out where you can still get some vise grips on it there might be some hope. try spraying power lube where it broke of let it sit for awhile they try removing it. if its broken clean off there isn't much you can do but buy a whole new anttena mast. good luck

No, it broke clean off.I talked to bob bell ford and the guy said they could try running a reverse screw into it, but i doubt that'll help. Im thinking i'll need a whole new base and mast...sweet. Thanks for you input. though.
