Are you making sure we know what it means, or are you really clueless to what it means?

If you don't know what it means, and if you own a Mustang - I wish you luck in life, as you really need it.

Grumpy.....just means someone had it plated in gold.

Sometimes when there is an anniversary of some sort then the maker (Ford for example)will do something just a little diff. to the badge. As in the 25th yr. anniv. the horse in the circle coloured in red/wht/blu with a little line going through it reading "25th anniversary", but Ford has yet to make a gold one probably because it would signify a 50th anniversary. ---

Gold used to be reserved for prestige cars - caddy, lincoln, etc.
but now every ghetto Terdcel has gold badges, chrome wheel arches, and 13" daytons.
But if you start with a turd, you end up with a dressed up turd. I don't get it.

yep,i have an '03 GT,and have seen only 2 mustangs with a gold horse on the front....one was a previous 94 GT that i had owned,it had automatic transmission...thought maybe that was why it had gold horse because i was told that most GT's are stickshift, thanks for your replies,as usual some people are more considerate than others in their words.....grumpy
