So just recently when ever i start my car and its not warmed already the rpms go all over the place. It usually revvs at llike 2 then drops down to below 1 and then the car dies and i havent touched the gas. I have a 1996Mustang Gtand i dont know if it matters but its got a superchip cold air and exhaust anda TBS of american muscle website(i know its not doing anything) but if anyone can help me out on why its idling and just dieing like that?

Check the air temp sensor or the engine coolant sensor.
