Default How to adjust clutch???

My clutch was getting really loose, and engaging almost at the bottom. So I took it to this guy that knows everything about mustangs, and he took it for a drive and came back and the damn thing was perfect. But today, I was trying to get rubber in second, and the ****er got loose again. So...how do you make it where the clutch is stiffer again?

kind of the same thing was happening to meand eventuallythe little plastic self adjuster broke. i went to a dealership to see about a new one and they said that it is from stomping on it hard and having an aftermarket clutch so i got a nice set up from ford racing. it replaces the plastic self adjuster with a metal piece and a new clutch cable.it only took me about 1 1/2 hours to install myself in the driveway and it is a lot better now.

the plastic teeth on the clutchquadrent are probablyworn down. Best thing to do would be to get a metal double/tripple hook quadrent
