Find you a good floor jack. I have a 4 ton, that is sometimes too tall for my lowered car. It wont fit under the sub frame connectors. You want something that will lift the car with ease and be sure you get some quality jack stands as well. Never ever trust your jack to hold wieght when you are under the car!

I want to get one of those aluminum racing jacks. They have them in rapid pump, 6 pumps to full extension. I don't trust bottle jacks, stock jacks of any kind, and any cheaper scissor jacks, i've had them all fail on me. This style is the only one I trust, and the aluminum ones don't weigh that much. Don't forget jack stands, it's a fools move to get under a car not suppored properly.

Like TwotoneVert said, just get one that will easily fit under your car. I haven't really ever heard of a "bad brand" of jacks. They're all good, but like everyone else is saying, DO NOT TRUST THE JACK. I'd rather spend some extra money for jack stands than put my life in the hands of a hydrolic jack. >.>

That's some dangerous stuff, I'll tell you. But anyway, measure the distance from your lowest part of the car to get to a lifting point, then go to Sears or even the internet and shop away, my friend. ^-^
