The other day I was driving on the highway and I got it up to 125MPH and I ran it for about 40 seconds...About 20 minutes later, I stop at a stoplight and my car starts shaking a little bit, I didn't floor it but I gave it some juice and then next stop light I came to the whole car started shaking like an airplane at takeoff. The whole ride home it shook regardless of it being in Park/Neutral or drive. It shakes less when you accelerate but it not much of a difference. I was thinking that maybe it was the engine mounts? or maybe it is a bad fuel injector? does anybody hacve any idea as to what it could be!?

does it feel like it is comeong from the chassie or does it feel like it is comeing from the drive train and engine? if it is the engine/drive train you might have killed it pretty good, i would have a friend that knows a lot about cars come and take a look at it, if not take it to a garage that you trust, Either way it does not sound good. (if it feels like it is comeing from the engine check your harmonic balincer? just an idea)

 

Could it need a tune-up?

 

well if its coming from the engine couldn't it be that maybe you screwed up an engine mount

 

could be cheap fuel or if it happens while your moving out of balance tires

 

might be the timing. maybe a fuel or ignition problem i wouldnt worry about it to much hopefully somethin small.

 

i messed up my harmonic balancer before. it was shaking like i had a flat tire, but it was even doing it when i was stopped, so that might be something to look at.
