T5 Question
I ordered a new Ford Racing T5z tranny from a dealer out of state and when it arrived in the cardboard box/crate there was no warranty card or documentation in the box.
Question:How can one be sure it is a new Ford Racing T5z and not a rebuilt T5?

Got the answer I needed... nevermind.
For those like me who were ignorant on this issue - according to the incredibly nice and informative guy at Tremec, the new WC Tremec T5 and the new Ford MS T5z are the exact same tranny (case, gears,etc) - just the stamped tag reads differently. Tremec makes the T5 for Ford who lists a torque rating of 330 ft-lbs on it and has a different tag on it and calls it a T5z. This explains the discrepant model number on my tag!
