hey i got a auto 04 mustang gt, with a cheap intake, throttle bodyspacer and no mufflers "straight pipes" i justbought the SCT XCAL 2 chip. Is it smart if i do it my self such as chosing the settings from my computer or do i really have to have a pro do it. Also just form the chip will i feel a difference in my car? how much rwhp or rwtq will i gain? THANKSS@!@!@!

 

by yourself you can adjust stuff like the timing and spark settings so you will notice a tiny improvement if you know exactly where to set everything but if you get someone like brenspeed or evolution performance to custom make you a tune you will get way more power than you could do by yourself my advice is to email evolution performance and get them to email you a tune then you can load it to the tuner from your computer then load it into your car you wont be sorry. my dad got a tune for his 05 gt from evolution and it brought the car to life, he will want to know the mods you already have on your car before he makes the tune.
