Default Driving habits

What's one of your driving habits?</P>

I live off a busy highway road, and I've seen several people get too close to the center line in the road and get wiped out.. So, whenever I can I normally ride with my passenger tire on the white line of the shoulder(unless there are pedestrians or cars parked)...</P>

I also come to a complete stop for right's on red &amp; stop signs (and pause for 3-4 seconds, even if the road is empty and I can see well ahead it's safe to proceed). I refuse to smash my car out of ignorant driver error, and I refuse to screw myself by being impatient and/or lazy at the wrong time and getting myself a nice big fat citation from Officer IFollowYouAround. <IMG src=smileys/smiley2.gif border="0"></P>

i agree with that, in new orleans you will find the worse drivers in the country.. all roads are flat and most straight and the straighter and flater the road(i.e interstates) the more fatalities..i now wear my seatbelt and take caution to all red lights and just turned greens because i have seen too many people plowed by people hauling through reds at the last second..you hop off the line on green and you may be the one who gets smoked by that person in such a hurry they blow through the red . and i bet all those accidents occur do to laziness and ignorance... i drive focused because i have been hit by ignorant people.. hey my gt got sideswiped last year by a little 16 punk kid in a sentra at a red light on a straight road..how the kid hit myred car at a freaking red light is beyond me and it took everything i had not to strangle the kid..3750 in damage but i did repaint the whole car... with an extra 3 layers of clear..<IMG src=smileys/smiley16.gif border="0"><edited><editID>tripsevn7</editID><editDate>37877.820162037</editDate></edited>

I have one as well....NYC

Now if you are not familiar with the NYC area, let me tell you it is not pleasant. Not only do you have trucks, construction, traffic, rice cars and not to mention cyclist, moped delivery guys, buses oh yeah, lets not forget the pedestrians who think they are invincable. You have potholes, and the police who will pull you over driving a car like a Mustang because they think you are a "Speed Exibitionist".

The ricer cars are one of the worst as they are zippin in and out of traffic then the SUV people who are always on your ***. Man let me tell you, NYC is one hell of a place. Emphasis on "HELL"

If you drive an attention getter car you better be really careful when it comes to traffic violations and cops

oh I bet....now being too causes can be as bad....here they have started to put 3 sec delays on lights as we have a bad problem on running red light..dum asses...we have a wreck at the corner where I live at least twice a week. I'm always in a hurry but I'm not going to run a red light and hurt or kill some one...now I might give you a friendly tap on the rear to get ya moving on the interstate*L*...we have cameras at most intersections but they most not be using them cause it gets worse every day

One of my bad habits while driving one of my personal cars is honking and flashing my lights and occasionally cussing out the dip sh*t that is driving alongside someone in the left lane. Dammit that pisses me off.

you havent experienced bad drivers till you have lived at the lake of the ozarks. There are idiots everywhere. They drive up to 20 Mph below the speed limit they dont use their turn signals cut across 3 lanes of traffic and basically drive around lost. F***ing Tourist. One came a cross 3 lanes of traffic and side swiped my step fathers porsche 928. </P>

Its hilarious when you see an idiot putting down the road and their car has been rearended.</P>
