Well, stuff at machine shop was not ready but at least they were working on it. Block is bored, pistons have been fitted, deck was milled, head bolt holes have been drilled and tapped for ARP 1/2" head studs, block has been notched to give clearance for longer stroke, crank has been polished, also shown is H style forged rods.

That's puuurty. Let us no a rough figure, if you don't mind, of how much you spend. When work pics up for me, and I'm sure others here as well, I will start another engine.

I thought it would be fun to keep a record of all predictions in one place and then post the results when I get it togther and on the dyno. Most of the time we predict for folks, they never actually make it to the dyno and tell us if we were right.
What a cool idea. I'm in. An I'm glad I went back and re-read - I skipped over the paxton the first time! Ummmm, I'm thinking that's going to make a difference. With 9:1 compression and 6 psi of boost, this Windsor will be a force-fed Rat trap!

517.46 RWHP.

Aw, what're ya gonna do, eh?

So what's the timeframe? Don't leave us hanging, dog!

ANd another thing - all this jack on the drivetrain, why not an upgrade to 5-bolt lugs? I wish FoMoCo had never done that. So wimpy looking (not on your car with the rims, though. That car's going to stomp some mudholes and then stomp 'em dry!)

I don't aim to leave you hanging. I just got off the phone with the machine shop. They are balancing everything as a unit today. Engine assembly would start this weekend but I am showing my 03 Cobra in the World of Wheels, I shoud start the assembly the first of next week.

As far as the 4 lug, someone else already spent the money for wheels, rear disk and diff. I may change it later, but for now it is money I don't have to spend to get it running.

I am so ready to put it together. I am sure no one else would have this problem but, I am having a hard time getting the machine shop to get done. I thought they balanced everything last week but, I went over there this afternoon and they were balancing it when I was there. I still have hopes of getting the engine together in the next 2 weeks and then start the install.
