Default Accufab Question

I have a question about the Accufab t/b and plenum combo is 75 to big for the t/b? I ordered the 70 last nite and the company called today and said that they were out of the 70 for two weeks so I got the 75. Is this going to be ok? 2003 Mustang GT 5 speed

Yes its going to be fine. The c&l plenum got the most HP/torque gains from a 75mm TB. I know yours isnt the c&l but im sure it would be the same with the accufab as well.

Go to the Accufab website...with the Accufab plenum on the 4.6 mustang you'll see the best performance with the 70mm tb...The C&L plenum is different, the 75mm tb sees the best performance.

I have the same car, with a 70 mm throttle body. It wont hurt to have the 75, but you wont really get anything from it unless you are going forced induction...

I think the larger throtle body wont hurt, but I think you where better off with the 70mm. But if your planning on future engine modifications or have current modifications then its wise to order the 75mm. Just keep in mind the larger the port the slower the air moves through it. Think of air as water, move the same amount of water through a two different size pipes. The larger pipe is going to be lazier than the smaller one because it has much more room, but the smaller pipe still has to move the same amount of water so it has to move the water much faster. You cant get to small or too big. It has to be just right. That goes for head port sizes and intake ports also, and headers.....etc.
