Where is it on your car? Im now curious as it seems a 95' 3.8 wont do more than about 165kph, or just under 110mph?

Whats a 5.0 stock top speed limited to?

 

as far as 5.0's go, im not aware of any rev limiter so the top speed really depends on the car's set up. The fastest I've gon in one was about 130 (I was not driving) other people here have gone alot faster though

 

118mph 97' Camaro 3.8 sixxer. lol found out I didnt need a 5th gear the dam thing wouldnt go past 118mph 4.3k rpm's in 4th.

The V6 cars were electronically limited to 118 mph.

 

well my gt is carbed so no rev limit crap [8D]. but you can go up until 130-135mph before it feels like its gonna fly off the ground and doors fall off.

 

That sounds about right, it has 15" rims but low profile tires so I guess that would of cut the speed down a bit

 

120 in my '71 currently...engine won't rev much tighter (redline). With my 3.25's, I was around 140.

My '03 has only seen 110 when passing a semi on a 2-lane highway...

 

I drove my dads stock 02gt DD to 130mph with some room left on the tach in 5th. In my Honda its limited to 133mph (I know from experience) but with still about half a tach to go until redline in 6th gear.
