what is the highest compression ratio you can use running pump gas 93 octane 12:5? with aluminum heads. thanks

 

Depends on the engine and tune. I run 12:1 and 13:1 ratios on 91 octane up here. However, the timing is held back on both engines. They both run real strong and have no problem pulling, but they are definitely not running up to their total potential.
