Default question?? please help

My husband and I are selling a 2000 Mustang GT (Cobra Clone) It has 47,500 miles on it and its in excellent condition. He has put alot of work into it. But we are asking 12,000 for it. I am looking for an honest opinion, are we asking to much? any advice or input would be so wonderful. He has had this car for 4 years and has babied it. I have it posted on here in the classifieds if you want to see the stuff he has done, he has it all written out in the post. and there are a few pics to. Thanks for your time

I dont think so, the blue book is a little over9000 and you usually dont get nearly as much money back on mods as you put in but you have a lot of money tied up in that car and i think looking for 3k over blue book for a car with a blower, wheels, big expensive brakes, nice stereo, etc.and was obviousley well taken care of is very reasonable

Doesn't seem too unreasonable to me. Might drop it some if you're trying to sell it fast, but otherwise I don't see it as asking for too much.

sounds like a fair price to me, i dont care what KBB or edmunds say on prices. i was looking for a while and never saw a car sell for the KBB value, always more (by quite a bit). as said, aftermarket mods dont really raise the value of the car unfortunately, if you guys still have the stock parts i suggest bolting those on and parting the rest on ebay, youll get more $ that way.
