anyone do the Ford Racing a/c delete kit with the brackets to move the power steering in place of a/c on a 5.0?


i was was wondering if anyone had any problems using the stock power steering pump lines or if you had to get longer ones?

also, according to the instructions you have to remove the pulley and putthe silverbracket behind it?


i am only using the fordracing.com instructions which are not detailed, if anyone has step by step please send me a link, thanks

 

I have the Ford A/C delete brackets on my '83 (it has '93 EFI, P/S pump/rack/lines). I just unbolted the A/C stuff and power steering pump, bolted on the new inner bracket, put the power steering pump in its new position, then the outer bracket. I didn't have to replace any lines. Also didn't have to remove the P/S pump pulley. Just had to find a shorter serpentine belt to replace the stock one.
