Default C4 questions

Can anyone tell me what year C4 this is? On top it says "11A" I need to know the year so I can get the right rebuild kit for it. I believe its a 75 or 76.
& does anyone know of a site that tells how to rebuild a C4? I have looked & not had any luck, but while doing my research I've found that June of '95 issue of Mustang Monthly has an article on it.

Clean itup more there is more numbers on it they will be on the side. also what letter is on the front servo? That is a big bell C-4 pan fill.you will need a AOD flex plate and a starter from the AOD.the AOD flex plate is 164 tooth.but as far as year you will need to find the other numbers on it but I think you are real close.if it has a H-servo in the front that is the best Ford servo for a C-4.

.... I'm just curious... Why exactly would I need an AOD flex plate & starter? & from what AOD might I add? & I'll clean it later today & check the #'s, it is dark out now & there are monsters in my woods. [sm=alien.gif][sm=badbadbad.gif][sm=vader1.gif][sm=tongue.gif]

AOD is 164 tooth flex plate and that is what plate that trans. takes and the aod plate will have the right balance 50oz and for your 302 as the old 164 flex and the old 302s where 28oz bal. like the 351.so you could use a old plate but you would have to have the motor rebalanced.so that is why I said use the AOD now if it was a small bell that is 157 tooth c-4 then you would have to buy a flex for that and they tend to cost more due to it being a custom flex plate all I was trying to say is the AOD stuff is the best way to go with that bell c-4 due to money and availability unless you are gone to need a SFI plate.I also used a AOD block plate and that is the reason I had to use the AOD starter. the hole in the plate would not let me use the stick starter or a older starter.that is what I said that for I just was not real clear sorry.confused yet I am. Also any AOD with a 5.0 in front of it I use a T-Bird

Can anyone tell what year it is with these numbers? On the right side it reads:
17A
H
C8ZP-7DO27-A
FoMoCo.

On the drivers side it reads:
19A & it has 2 other numbers I can't make out.

It's a 1968 C-4 tranny. The "C8" is what tells me that.
BTW, you have an "H" servo....keep it...it's the best one they have.
