Ok well recently i had a incident. While going home from work I made a turn on alight. There are sprinklers held in the middle of the street so there was water present.. When i made a turn. I slid and lost control of the car and slammed against the curb.The carjumped on the sidewalk.. One side of the car was onthe street and the other on the sidewalk...I got out, checked the car for any damage espically on the front bumper..Thank goodness there wasnt any damage..When i drove off, there was this nasty noise coming from the right side wheel, which made first contact to the curb..I pulled over and looked at the wheel and noticed therewas a chip of the rim missing..I hit the tire with my handand i heard like flickeringlike if there wassomething loose.. Also when i drive the car, itleans towards the right of the damage area.
Anyways i took it to a shop where they did an expection.I got an alignment done. Which really didnt do adifference.They have told me that theright side of the wheel is leaning a little towards the back and said a part was bended..They gave me a print out of parts i needed

Stating thati needed

Lower Arm $150
Front Sprouts $100

total: 400 including labor..

is that what i really need to get it completly fixed oris it a good deal?
also i have another question before this incident occured...im pretty sure its common.. well when i drive the car. theres this annoying sound...making turns ,when itusuallyoccurs,similar to the sound where u go in reverse and hear that mrehhh" noise..Getting that job fixed mentioned above, will ittake careof thatproblem or do i have to do something else..

FYI...you must drive worse than an old lady going to church in a mustang when theres water on the ground.you willloose control in these cars if someone hauks a loogie (sp?)on the ground.

Yeah sounds good for a fix, $400 is good punishment for losing control and hitting a curb

 

Or go to a wreckers and find a mustang with front end damage and pull the parts

 

Couldn't tell ya whats wrong with out looking at it but sounds about right for the wreck you had. That price sounds fair.....

you could probably just grab the parts out of one at a junkyard, its not like mustangs are rare cars. save you some bucks that way

 

Most cars are wrecked in the front making front end parts harder to find in the junkyard. The lower control arm is probably bent, as well as the rim, and perhaps some other parts. Lower arm is priority I would say.
