i got a new mechinal advance msd dis and i am not sure how to set the timing..i set the springs up to where the timing is all in at 3000...i have a 21 drgree bushing in it...now do i set the timing at a idel or do i bring the motor up to 3000 at sit it at say 32dgrees or do i set it at like 14 degree at a dead idle?

 

you should be able to set the timing at idle to about 10-14 degrees or so and then see what it moves to at 3,000 rpm and it should be up in the 30's.
