Default Mach 460

I have a 95 GT. I t has the Mach 460 sound system and when i got the car the rear amps were unplugged. I plugged them in and the system sounds like it is overdriving extremely bad at any volume and even with the bass turned all the way down. What could the problem with this be? Also at random times when the radio is playing the bass turns off. HELP HELP HELP!!!!

Check all the grounds and inline fuses.Check the connectionson the rear AND the front speakers and see if anything is out of the normal.

Is the entire sound system stock, or has the head unit been replaced with aftermarket?
