Default exhaust

just installed my 1 5/8 ceramic shorties into o/r h and flowmasters 40 series with turn downs.. i dont notice ANY power difference, just figured id notice a little bit of change but i guess not? what would i get from this? 10, 15 hp? my factory headers were FULL of old carbon ****, i figured it would be really noticable because of that... oh well.

they helped alittle bit in higher speeds im sure. i dont think the shorties do to much. long tubes do alot more i think.

i dunno, i heard shorties give you about 10, midpipe about 10 and catback maybe about another 5+. i'll know if/when i get some shorties and get it dyno'd again. i can't get LTs due to emissions.

well longtubes are designed for higher hp cars (385+rwhp). On cars with lower horse power they tend to help with the high rpms, but kill ur low end. And the shorties, i only felt a small difference at around 2200rpms. The o/r pipe was the biggest difference i felt, but it was more of an "aggressive sound gain" rather than REAL power gains...but still was noticable.
