Default Vehicle Recalls

I'm browsing around and found a complete listing of Safety recalls, general recalls, bulletins for the 95 Mustang 5.0 HO / V6.

One of them I happened to notice is this...
02-16-4 AUG 02 Audio System - Whining/Buzzing Noise From Speakers

I have exactly that.

My question is, what can I do about it?
Considering this recall was over 3 years ago, and obviously not taken care of from the previous owner.
Does Ford still warrenty recalls, even if their from 1995/later?
Do they or would they at least check the safety recalls on my car to see if they've been taken care of?

and here's the list if anyone else wants it.

very true.. but i was wondering if anyone else thought of this sort of thing before.

anyone had luck with making a Ford dealership fix something from a recall 6 years ago? or any length of time ago really.. when the car is obviously no longer under warrenty.

all you have to do is go to the ford dealership and they type your VIN number in the database and if nothing has been done as far as recalls from previous owners then they have to do them or get sued...thats the bottom line

Thats not a recall. It's a TSB. They won't cover that for free anymore.

If it was a recall, then it's a RECALL. They will fix or replace the recalled item for the life of the car.

Where can I find that database? I'd like to see if everything was done correct with my car. Thanks.

Anybody ever have any recall work done i heard that the parts are free but you still have to pay for the labor. Google search something like mustang factory recall or something i looked mine up when i bought my mustang back in october and it showed ignition replacement, i just overlooked it for now not really needing it and not knowing how the recall process works.

here.
Although it's a ford dealership other than the one you bought your car at, it's still linked to all the dealerships nation wide, and also the same one which is searched by the Ford techs themselves.

you can also goto the government DMV website, and search by Make/Model/Year. It "should" bring up the same info.
