Default Clutch/Flywheel question(s)...?

Ok i am making a list of mods I want to do to my car and I have quite a list so far and its going to require a stage 2 clutch. One thing I am unsure of is wtf is a flywheel? I am pretty new to moding cars and EXTREMELY new to mustangs as I just replaced my grand marquis with this 05' GT.

Heres a link to show you what I am talking about, the top right clutch and the bottom left clutch are the same but one is like 2x the other in price because of this flywheel thing. I am sorry if I am asking a dumb question but could someone explain it to me... http://www.brenspeed.com/mustang_2005/clutchparts.html

thnx

the flywheel is attached to your crank and is what your clutch mates to. When you replace a clutch you have to at least have your flywheel turned if you dont get a new one. The lightweight flywheel will let the engine rev up quicker
