Im looking to get an older Mustang. My wife is wanting me to get a 96 + model, me Im not too picky and am looking for the best performance. Which would be the best choice for daily car looking to get into the mid 12s, the 5.0 or the 4.6? Im looking to get best performance for the price without nitrous.

 

definitely the 5.0. Get a 94-95 if you dont like foxbodys

 

The non pi headed 4.6's are pigs, avoid them if you can if you're looking for performance
