Cobra IRS ???
I have asked around and there seems to be seriuos problems with wheel hop. The IRS has rubber bushings in the
control arms. So I suggest that the rubber bushings be replaced with polyurethane. What are the plans for the car I guess
you will autocross or road racing with this rear. The solid axled cars are better for the drag strip.

i'm going more for road racing than drag racing, but i'm not sure which one is better. i want the car to be able to perform well through corners and straight line. what i'm wondering is does the irs differential have any serious issues with leaking or breaking when driven hard. also wondering how much it would be to seriously upgrade the solid axle for this. i found a full irs assembly for $1700 and i wanted to know if it was worth it.
The yes the IRS rear would be better for road racing. You might have to beef up the arms and bushings as well.
It will be very expensive and will add additional weight to the car, like 70lbs.

ahh screw it.... i'll just stick with what i got. does anyone know what type of control arm bushings will cause the least amount of damage to my torque boxes. this car is daily driven.
