Hey guys, I have 2 questions.

First can someone give me in as much detail what Mustangs came with electric cooling fans?

second can someone post or point me in the direction to the cooling fan wireing diagrams for the vehicles to be named in this post?

i didnt realize mustangs ever had an electric fan?

 

following the performance trend I would find it very very hard to belive that the newer mustangs would still be running the mechanical fans. anyone know for sure?

 

im not sure about all, but at least the dual plug 2.3's had them (but the shroud is huge and i doubt that it could pull enough for a big *** radiator). and the rest im not sure. you probably could find out just looking on ebay motors at engine pictures

 

From the searching I have been doing I know "some" 4.6's and cobras have them but I can't find out exactly what years and motors do.. It's a pain to find all that info.

 

WOW, im wicked suprised no one came to the rescue. But i have a clue why no one has.

Anywhoo. I know the 4.6's all have them, weather its SOHC or DOHC. The v-sickz had clutch type also. And all 5.0's did too.. What im NOT sure about is weather the 5.0's in 94-95 had an elec. fan yet. They might have.

Also, depending on what wiring diagrams you need. I am a FORD technician. I can log into the Professional technician website and save all the wiring you need. Also, im guessing youre fan ( or someone else) doesnt work. First thing i would check is fuse, then wires to it, then check the resister on the fans.

Thats kind of what I am leaning to. Does this include the V6's as well?






Casper. I can get The diagrams that I need from work. but if you can get a hold of a year range that have the same systems that would be easier then me printing off every diagram for 94-present. If you have them I would need 03-05 tho since our software doesn't go up that far yet. I would apresiate any help that you could give.
