Hello All, im lookin for input on wat motor to build guys, im going to build me my 1st pony and am confused about wat motor , A friend of mine has a 4.6 and 5.4 core motors and i have pick of any of the 2 both 2 v , my goal is too have 1 mean machine, lol, like us all, this is wat im thinking for short block , forged pistons, bored 40 over , steel crank , H rods, balanced--- Top end , dart heads , Blower , ive been thinking about stroker kits , nos with blower, are stroker with blower and nos , are can u even do that with stroker motors and blown moters , just an old musal head commin in to this guys, but want this car to smoke rouch ,seleen, this will be a street rod , dont want 800 hp that i cant put to the ground if u know wat i mean ,something that will hook up good wat ever the hp might be 500-600-650 hp wanting the most hp i can get if it will hook up good , just dont want to burn money that will be useless, have no idea wat pistons to run with wat are cam with wat wat tune are anything , pointers plz ,

Even 500hp can be very tough to get usablyonto the ground.. Do you mind me asking what's the highest horsepower car you've driven so far?

Well i would have to say that my 70 SS CHEVELLE with a 427 BB was bout the fastest car i had and it was pushing around 450 hp, but ,lol i know that a 70 ss is a WHOLE differnt thing from a 05 stange with that amount of hp. , Im trying to build it right the 1st time and not be srry later , U know wat im saying, i wiil have a procharger on it for sure just dont know a good combo for street , do i go with 4.6 and stroke it with blower ? would that be a good setup , are go with more cubes bore the 5.4 -40 over with blower lookin to find killer setup too where this thing will fly, hahaa , Thx
