http://www.carcraft.com/techarticles/116_0307_ford/. car craft gained 104 hp and 53 ft/lbs with a set of afr 165's and a set of headers. i know these are crankshaft horsepower, but damn! Stock crankshaft and all. Am i just a newbie and these results are typical or are these just excellent heads?

 

when i did my 165's it took a full second off my quarter mile time. cant say for hp cause ive never been on the dyno before. ill be going soon though

 

104 hp..I highly doubt it out of the box but there a nice peice..stock crank?..I bet you ment stock cam..some people don't relize the stock cam cam be a good thing with a nice set of 1.72 will help a ton....seen 11 sec stock cam engines

 

oops. yeah i meant stock cam. wouldn't you realize a bigger horsepower gain with an aftermarket custom cam than with 1.72 rockers and stock cam?

 

the paper work afr sent me with my heads show 100hp gain with full exhaust already done and full intake

 

Stock 302 will give you 225 at best i believe, and they claim 400 with the same combustion...
