Default Tokico Illumina Adjustable

Quick question...

I was told that 87-93 front struts work better for lowered stangs. I have a 2002 GT and I am putting Sportlines on it. I can get a set of Tokico Illumina shocks/struts 94-04 for around 275 bucks. They have less than 1000 miles on them. Is there a huge difference in ride by not using the 87-93 front struts? If the illuminas will work I will buy them asap. They are around 550 bucks a pair.

I don't know if the 87-93 struts work for the newer stangs. I would go with the Tokico Alumina's or even better spend a little
more and opt for Bilstein or Koni's.
