Default shock/strut buying decision help

Hello everyone. I have a 99GT. I've lowered it 1.25" all the way around with Steeda Spring at about 5K miles. But now, the car has about 69K miles and it's time for the shocks/struts to be changed out. I've never bought shocks/struts before, but I am pretty familiar with the brand names and types of shocks out there. I'm not looking for any adjustable shocks because, i'll probably never adjust them and I don't really do any racing with my car anyways. It is a daily driver, so I'm looking for good ride quality at a good price. I was looking at KYB GR-2 shocks/struts and Tokico HP shocks/struts. Which one of these shocks is better and will my ride quality be alot better. Now, I know there alot better shock/struts out there but I don't want to spend too much money when I can get close to what I'm looking for at a decent price. Any help of insight on this would be greatly appreciated. Any other shocks/struts that are out there I should look at? Thanks guys.

I have the Steeda sport springs on my '98 GT. At the same time I had installed the "blue" non-adjustable Tokico struts and shocks with KYB quads. I like the combination and the solid "down" feel it gives me. Found this on ebay, can't really beat this price: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...958315051&rd=1 For the KYB quads go to Mustangs Unlimited: http://mustangsunlimited.com/Cat_key...b+quad&x=0&y=0

Good luck with your ride!

What do you guys think of Jamex Shocks and Struts? I know they make decent lowering springs. The reason I ask is because I found this deal on ebay Here.

Any input would be appreciated. Deanno, thanks for the input, I checked out the quads for my rear and I'm seriously thinking about upgrading those while I'm changing out my shocks. If I upgrade those along with the frong and rear shocks, will it make a big difference in my ride quality as opposed just replacing the front/rear shocks only?

the quad shocks aren't going to affect the ride quality very much, they just help limit the axle rotation under hard acceleration to minimize wheel hop.
