Default Fox vs. Fox 4 (SN95)

Ok all you mustang enthusiasts out there, I have a ponder question for you and would love all the help I can get.

If the wheelbase of our cars increased from 100.5 (79-93) to 101.3 (94-04) But, the rear suspension dimensions and driveshaft length are the same from 79-04, where did the extra inch come from??

Additionally, comparing my 95 GT to my buddy Terry's 95 Vert, mine is 3/4" shorter. Any ideas why?

Thanks
Kev

Longer wheel base doesnt mean the engine was moved. Move the front suspension forward but leave the frame mounts. But I THINK the input shaft and bellhousing are shorter on the SN95 vs the fox cars.

ya its the input shafts of the trans, if you try to swap trannies around you will find out that the 89 WC t-5 wont fit into a 95 [:@]
