Default clutch pedal problem maybe please help

I just bought a 2003 mustang gt and the clutch pedal feels tight. What I mean is it has to be pushed all the way to the floor to be in nuetral and after you put it into gear and start to release the clutch pedal it goes into gear less than an inch off the floor and its through all the gears like this. Has someone been messing with the pedal or something or is this normal on all mustang gt? If someone has messed with it to make it shift faster is there a way I can adjust it to make it alittle loser just don't feel right? Thanks

mmmm that doesn't sound normal, is it really hard to push down? the previous owner might have have bought a racing clutch.. that means faster shifts!

I am not sure what is going on with the clutch pedal. Its not hard to push in its kinda soft. I just don't get it that you barely have to lift your foot off the floor and its in gear right away. I don't even have time to give it gas at the same time thats how fast its going into gear.

Maybe you should try to adjust the height of the clutch pedal and see if that helps. To do this, make sure car is off and put it in first gear. Then lift up the clutch pedal by pulling it upwith your footwhere you want it and then slowly push down on it until you hear a click.

I have tried that but it hasn't changed the position of the clutch pedal at all. Do you think maybe the dealership changed the clutch out but did not change the clutch cable could this f**k the position of the release point on the pedal it is still atleast a couple of inches to a quarter of the way off the floor when it engages into gear. Has anyone had this problem or experience this before and how do you fix it?
