There is a 1996 Black Mustang Cobra with 85000 miles on it. The car is at a local dealer. They are askin 9,962 for it. The sales rep didnt think there were any mods done but when he poped the hood i could tell there was a cold air intake and differnt sparkplug wires. I would assume more probably. Does this sound like a resonable price or not? Also i aksed them how much they would give me for my car. they said umm probably aound 3600 i was like that is a shame.

Do the ww.KBB.com to compare the price difference. Thats really the number you need if you are going to trade. Sure, you can also see what Kelly Blue Book values are, while you are at it.

i think i am gonna stay with mine, the cobra doesnt have chrome cobra rims, and the tires are only 245s all the way around, and i just spent 1000 on my car to get new tires put on alinged, balanced and the ball joints replaced. I also know what i have with my car, i could buy the cobra and on the way home then engine blows up. and id be out 9 grand.

his insurence shouldnt be to bad. i quoted a 01 cobra and it was 72 a month but i am 20 but have a speeding ticketthat should get wiped off soon.
any way why do you want a cobra your car is nice

No i just turned 16 a month ago. I think i am goin to keep my car. The main reason i wanted a cobra is because i really want a black car and the cobra happen to be black and i want a 5 speen mines an auto. But my car will do for now.

How can a 96 Cobra be worth that much with that many miles?
I havent gone and looked in any mustang magazines, or even searched my favorite trader site, but that seems high to me. Thats 85K miles of abuse!!
