Power window Express Up intermittent problem
Hey all,
I have a 2006 Mustang V6 with the Pony Package and the upgraded instrument panel... 32,000 miles on her.
Last week my driver's side power window's "Express Up" functionality (i.e. when the power window rolls all the way up without having to pull up and hold the window switch) began to operate intermittently. Now, most of the time the window will only roll up all the way while the switch is pulled up and held with my finger...
Occasionallythe window's Express Up functionality will work fine, while other times the window won't move up at all when operating the power window switch (either pulling it up once, or pulling/holding it up so the window goes up).
I've read the blurb and tried the suggestion in my Owner's Manual on page 44 about resetting/recalibrating thepower window's Express Up functionality. However, doing that did not solve the problem. My power window's Express Up still behaves intermittently.
Anyone else happen to have experience with this issue in your Mustang? I have a feeling there may be a faulty connection in the switch or the wiring, butwould like to hear suggestions from the rest of you if you've seen this problem... and (more importantly) what you did to fix it.
I plan to take her back to the dealer and have them look at it since the recalibration trick didn't do anything (and she's still under warranty), but wanted to arm myself with possible theories as to what's wrong before I go in...
Thanks for any tips you can provide!

Hi Dan
I have a 2005 with the same "Express up" problem, and lately it won't pop up into the molding when closing the door. Haven't checked with the dealer yet, but think the first warm day I am going to pull the door panel.
