vert foxes did NOT come with 3.55's

Infact, the fox/fox4 v8 cars never got anything higher than 3.27's until 03 ( with the exception of the Cobra R's)

Adder is right as far as I know. I know for a fact that my car has 3.08's which was the lowest (highest #) gear they came with in that year. Later modelCobra's got 3.27's until '03 when they got 3.55's. Not sure about the GT's but I know they didn't get anything higher than 3.27's either.

do you need a whole rear end? or are you just looking for something with a 3.55 ratio? because you can get a regular gt rear end and put in a set of 3.55 gears.

Just buy the gears. Get them installed. You don't need a whole rear end.

I dont want to pay 500-600 to get gears n put them in.
I would rather geta rear that has 3.27 or 3.55 in it already.
Thanx,
Rob

well more than likely, if you get a whole rear end out of a junkyard or something, its going to need a rebuild. and if not its going to cost you easily 700 to buy the rear end and have it installed. you are looking at spending alot more money and time with swapping out the whole rear end just for a better gear ratio, than would be just to get a new set of gears installed.

it is 5/8 inch wider on each side so yes it will work and bolt right up but tires will stick out more and might rub
