Default 1998 Body Kits

My old girl is scratched up and dented and its time for me to consider options on what to do about the body.

I can leave it stock or get a body kit.

I know I want Cervini's Stalker Ram Air Hood but I'm still considering overall body kits. I want to know how those with the kits like them and if there are better deals then Cervini's. I dont want anything too radical

when it comes to body kits, you get what you pay for. the whole cervinis stalker kit is great quality but they will run about 1800+ install/paint. you can find kits on ebay for about 4-500 but they fitment sucks and they usually dont look too good. if you are dead set on having a body kit then go with either a cobra kit, saleen kit, or the stalker kit. they are the best looking 3, in my opinion. and make sure you get it in urethane and not fiberglass. its ok if the hood is fiberglass, but all the bumpers/side skirts need to be urethane. please dont get anything too off the wall though.

No my tastes are more conservative, the Stalker kit would be quite radical for me.

well if that is the case then i would go with something like the cobra kit or maybe a saleen kit.

I think I'll have to mix and match what I want. I like the Saleen rear bumper but I'd rather have a different front. I'm having an even harder time deciding on side skirts because every site I've been to has very poor picture quality.

dont go with urethane unless your driving an v8 ureathane is way heavier than crabon fiber and way more exspensive ok. if your driving a 6 go with carbon fiber that way your car isnt lagging because of the eminse weight of all the urethane rubber connected to your car.

that is almost 100% incorrect. Poly kits are far better than the cheap fiberglass crap out there. And there is NO WAY a carbon kit is cheaper than plastic. Not to mention 99% of the cars out there don't need that much of a weight change.
