Since i just got my 03 gt, i have started to inspect it more carefully. It has a BBK CAI and the filter is pretty dirty. I don't know how long it has been in there. Can anyone point me in the direction of how to clean it, or should i just start from scratch with a new filter?

nice ride! some filters can be cleaned. the only one i can think of right now is a k&N. you can buy cleaning and recharge kits for those. you might be better off getting a new K&N filter and folow the directions to charging it and cleaning it at the proper intervals.

 

Hey jchittick, just wondering what % tint you have there, looks nice! I'm gonna tint my car when it gets warmer out.

 

The girl i bought it from didn't know, but said the tint was illegal in the state of Tennessee. I have a couple of friends that work at detail shops, let me ask them. Heres another, if you want more, i will post them.
