Default bad deal?

i've already bought it, but might as well ask.

i paid 8k (including taxes and all that good stuff) for my 2002 v6 3.8L stang. 84k miles on it and 75% of the tread still on the tires. did i pay too much? i had to talk the **** out of these guys to get them to come down from where they were at.

the only complaint i have about it (bought it from a dealer) is the previous owner was a moron and tried to install his own sound system. now that's not what makes him\her a moron. i don't think the person knew what a screw was, nor had he\she ever removed a door panel. broken plastic pieces, that he had glued back, the only reason i found out was i installed my own sound system.

but besides that, all's good.

I dont think you got the best deal but not a bad deal. I got a 01 Gt w 80K for 9400, it had the bullit wheels and the 460 sound but that was a frickin steal most go from 11 to 12++ to bad my friend rolled it and totaled it last year. I got a 88GT now (originally what I wanted). I paid a little more then I think I should of (3800) but now I look back that the deals over and I got over it.

Not to be mean in anyway, but since you were being honest, im going to be honest as well, less milage then 84k you could have found a "GT" for around 10k

Although you could have gotten a v8 for around 10k, you will save quite a bit on insurance with the v6 (I dont know how old you are)

I know for me, being 21, my insurance would be about $200 more per month if I had a v8, no accidents...
