Default More Power needed

Hey,

I've a 2000Gt Conv and need to know what else I can do to get more power apart from adding a supercharger or a turbocharger. My best time to date is 14.1@96mph. I've the following modifications:

3.73 gears , 70mm throttle body, pulleys, catback exhaust system, torque converter, K&N air filter, and cold air kit.

I don't want to change the headers as yet as I'm sure if I'll be going turbo/supercharger in the future. Is it possible for me to change the GT from a 2v to a 4v like the cobra's and if so how can i do it and how much more power would that give me?.

Upgrading to a 4v motor isnt very practical for the costsvs performance gain. I think teh best performance for the money for your right now would be with an aftermarket h or x pipe (5 - 8 hp), mass air sensor (10+ hp) , and timing adjuster (10+ hp). Those mods should easily get you running consistant 13's.

Like all opinions, everyone has one, and nowyou have mine.

Thanks dude,

But I forgot to add that I already have the x pipe and 80mm mass air sensor.

How much would it cost to do the timing adjuster? and would I've to change the timing adjuster again when I add a turbo/supercharger? Also would you know which gives more power the long tube or the shorty headers?

get longtubes and cutouts and then fab the rest with what you have leftover(little impractical, but if you have the stuff to do it yourself then it would be fun and fast!)
