A few days ago my 94 3.8 mustang started rumbling when i drive for a bit then stop at a redlight, then when i drive off (give it gas) the car hesitate to take of for a few seconds then it take off. i read the book and they said tat only 3 things could make thos happen; 1. bad initgion coil pack 2. bad fuel pump 3. fuel injectors are dirty or backup. i change out the first 2, i guess i'll run to the shop tommorrow and get the injectors clean.

oh, the rumbling and hesitation doesn't happen all tha time. just every so often. if you have an idea feel free to post thanks! merry christmas to all that post & read!

fuel filter of throttle position sensor would be my first two guesses.

 

I know I have the same issue, and I just replaced my fuel filter, and it didn't do anything. So my next guess would be the TPS or maybe a faulty injector. Let me know if you fix it. Thanks

 

i had the same problem. i had the injectors cleaned and it didnt really help. it ended up being a mass ait flow sensor
